Eiger Shumway

Eiger joined RFS in 2016, as a very entry-level Office Dog.  Eiger is a Samoyed graduate from North’Star Kennel as well as an AKC registered Canine Good Citizen (CGC).  She brings her gentle and fun spirit to all RFS offices, occasionally.  Eiger’s status remains part-time, as her gentle and fun spirit is sometimes overpowered by mischievous and high-maintenance behavior.  When not at RFS, Eiger is an avid hiker; she has completed the 32-mile Pemi Loop hike, many other New Hampshire 4000 footers, and hundreds of smaller ascents.  Eiger especially enjoys swamp-based mud bathing, temporarily changing her coat from white to black, and is a self-taught human food taster.
