Niles has been with RFS since 2017 and leads the firm’s High Performance Building Group (HPBG). Niles’ expertise in analysis and optimization of MEP and architectural systems brings high-performance design and sustainability to the design process, while being mindful of capital cost and life-cycle cost implications. For ten years prior to RFS, Niles worked as a Senior Energy Engineer for a national A/E firm, where he bridged his energy-focused work in support of building systems and building architecture. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont. Outside of practicing engineering, Niles enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, renovating his home, and creating and playing music.
