Mark’s introduction to RFS came through his work as a Senior Building Automation System (BAS) Technician for a national BAS company. Mark joined RFS in 1997, moving from the construction side to the consulting side. In his early days at RFS, Mark served as the firm’s first official Construction Administrator. He assisted in developing and then managing RFS’s Construction Administration and Commissioning Departments. In his current role, Mark supports RFS’s mechanical engineering teams with BAS designs and specifications. He also provides QA/QC and constructability input across our MEP/FP disciplines and projects. Before shifting his career to the AEC industry, Mark served in the US Navy for six years as a nuclear machinist mate in the submarine fleet on board the USS Alabama. Mark enjoys doing anything outdoors, especially gardening and golfing. Going on travelling adventures with his family is tops on his list of favorite activities outside of work!
