Scheduled for completion in 2026, 1165 Providence Highway will be a 320,000 sf owner-occupied building for commercial property insurer FM Global. The project, being led by Hobbs Brook Real Estate, will include state-of-the art research/testing along with Class A office and amenity spaces. The project will also include a four-story, 930-space structured parking facility and improvements to the 40-acre FM Global Norwood Campus. The project is targeting LEED Gold and WELL Bronze Certifications.
The building will set a new benchmark for sustainable and resilient design in the FM Global portfolio. Building thermal energy systems will be all-electric supported by 220 geothermal wells and accompanying water-to-water heat pumps, along with air-to-water heat pumps, as well as the rigorous safety and engineering standards of FM Global. The project design references and adheres to FM Global design standards.
