Shattuck Hospital, East Newton Pavilion

Lemuel Shattuck Hospital is relocating its 260 inpatient medical and psychiatric beds to the East Newton Pavilion Building at 88 East Newton Street in Boston. The renovated facility will provide high-quality space for patients and staff, and will also enable collaboration with Boston Medical Center, DMH’s Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center, and neighboring academic institutions.

As consultant to DCAMM, RFS is providing MEP/FP commissioning services including LEED Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning. RFS’s work includes design reviews, development of commissioning plan and testing procedures to align with a complex project phasing plan, verification testing, functional performance testing, and commissioning close-out services. As an extension of our commissioning services, DCAMM has retained RFS to provide expanded on-site representation to assist with owner project management/oversight for MEP/FP systems.
