Originally constructed in 1928, MIT’s Burton-Conner House serves as home to over 375 students. The nine-story, 168,000 sf suite-style building includes unique cook-for-yourself kitchens promoting community and independent living.
The building underwent extensive renovation, with a focus on new building amenities, upgraded finishes, and replacement of MEP/FP systems. Systems replacement included a focus on improved resiliency and redundancy of head-end MEP/FP equipment, and extensive upgrades to life safety systems.
